FREEDOM OF CHOICE

There is no such thing as freedom of choice unless there is freedom to refuse. The strongest principle of growth lies in human choice. Freedom of choice is more to be treasured than any possession earth can give.

At the end of 2019, Covid-19 (Coronavirus) hit the world. It was an extremely scary time for many. Things seemed to get out of control fairly quickly. The government started implementing rules and did not allow people to decide what they would put in their bodies. They led people to believe that you would be putting everyone at risk if you didn't get the COVID shot, which they called a vaccine, which it is not. The people who did not want the shot were then looked at as being the bad guys. The killers of all who were dying!

This COVID shot had not been tested as it should have been. They were not reporting all the side effects that people were getting. I chose NOT to get it because I didn't feel it was safe, and it was a gut feeling. I had to do what I felt was best for me. Eventually, our citizens' rights were taken away from us. We could no longer go into restaurants, movie theaters, or gyms. All rights to travel on trains, buses, and planes and visit loved ones in nursing homes and hospitals were not permitted if we were not vaccinated. We had to present a vaccine passport to prove we got the shot and booster. I still chose NOT to get it!

At the end of 2021, people were fed up with having their rights taken away. The truckers were not allowed to cross the Canada USA border, and many were losing their jobs because they did not want to put this COVID shot in their bodies. So much for Freedom of Choice!

The truckers created "The Freedom Convoy", which took place in Ottawa. Beginning January 22, hundreds of vehicles formed convoys from several points. They traversed Canadian provinces before converging on Ottawa on January 29, 2022, with a rally at Parliament Hill. The convoys were joined by thousands of pedestrian protesters to encourage "Freedom of Choice". What was supposed to be a weekend protest turned into a 3-week ordeal and turned ugly towards the end. The government did not want to negotiate, and of course, they blamed the unvaccinated. The truckers were forced out of Ottawa, and many were arrested.

Finally, the restrictions were lifted, but people were still encouraged to get booster shots every 3 months. Little did they know of all the potential long-term side effects. Some people are so fearful of getting COVID-19 that they continue getting the
shots. It saddens me to think of all the negative brainwashing the media and government fed the public. Some people may say that I am an Anti-Vaxxer or a Conspiracy Theorist. This is not the case!

So many of us have lost friends and family over a difference of opinion. I have always respected someone else's opinion, even if I did not agree. I feel strongly that we should have the right to choose what we put in our bodies and not be bullied and removed our rights because of it.

They have finally published some of the side effects of the COVID-19 shot, and I am so happy I went with my gut feeling and didn't get it. Cancer and deaths are on the rise, and people are dying but not from Covid-19. Could it be from the Covid shot? I guess time will tell!
